OPENING DOORS is in my blood and a family business. My great grandfather was a real estate broker, planner and developer during the mid-century. My grandmother was both a title and escrow officer. My uncle was a mortgage broker. And my (amazing) husband Joel Hess is the Managing Broker of our Brokerage, Realty ONE Group Professionals.
In 2016 we entered the world of brokerage owners, purchasing Idaho Properties Real Estate. Idaho Properties was one of Idaho’s oldest brokerages – dating back from the 1950’s. As Joel and I worked to add new technology and resources for our team, we were discovered by Realty ONE Group. The objectives, tools, skills training, education and influx of the most innovative and resourceful technology platform was a perfect fit with our vision. In 2016, we went ROG (we like to pronounce it “rogue”) and launched Realty ONE Group Professionals, creating a coolture, where everyone has a voice within our incredibly talented agents. Excellent in every way. Julie was extremely knowledgable and helpful. It was a long process and she was very patient with us. Our property is a ranchette that has some unusual features. In addition to the "normal" process of purchasing property she did a lot of research in water rights, plot plan information on adjacent properties and general gathering of related information that was very useful in understanding in detail what we were buying. At our request she also provided us with contact information for various contractors whose work she was confident of. The bottom line is that she invested a lot of additional time so that we had a very clear understanding about our purchase. She was always very positive, and a joy to work with. I recently sold my Meridian Idaho home. I listed it for sale by owner using Zillow and Craigslist. Joel and Julie were the buyers realtors and were very professional.
